May Marks My One Year Anniversary of "Magic of the Rainforest"

posted Tuesday, 6 May 2008

This year has really gone by so fast since I started this blog a year ago.  I have enjoyed writing my articles so much and I want to thank all of my readers and everyone who has entered my contests.  I hope that you have enjoyed and benefited from my articles.

I owe so much to Joe Savard, who is a web master, who helped me get my blog started.  Actually, before I met Joe the thought of having a blog never occured to me.  And now I'm writing weekly articles and people all over the world are reading them.

I am excited to pre-announce my goal of officially announcing my Wellness Coaching practice in August 2008.  I will be taking approximately 10 coaching clients.  If you would like to reserve a spot, please let me know as soon as you can.  I'm a Wellness Coach certified by the Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas.  I'm looking for people who are serious about improving their health and well being and wants a coach to help them achieve their goals.  I'm a Wellness Coach who takes a holistic approach.

I am an Amazon Herb Girl.  You probably have noticed that in every article I talk about one of the Amazon Herb products.  I love these products and have had great results!  I would never use anything besides Lluvia, the skin care system.  I now have beautiful, youthful looking skin.  As far as the health products go, one product is better than the next.  The healthy teas are wonderful and the most healthy dark chocolate is out of this world!  This does not stop with myself, I use the greatest multipurpose Amazon Herb cleaning product.  I can truly say that both myself and my home are chemical free!  If you would like to order or see these products go to www.MagicoftheRainforest.amazonherb.net.

A favorite book that I talk about which is a necessity for those with a home-based business or for those who want to have a home-based business for the numerous benefits is "It's How Much You KEEP That Counts! not how much you Make" by Ron Mueller.  Go to www.kickstartcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=292781 to order the book or subscribe to Ron Mueller's FREE bulletin, "Tax Tips You Can Bank On" just by submitting your name and email address.

Every month I have had a contest where I gave a free product. (I probably will stop for the summer months and resume in the fall.)  The winner has a published profile in an article.  I thought that I would publish my own profile so that you can know me a little better.  Here it is:

Occupation:  Wellness Coach, Writer, Sales.

Maritial status:  Divorced

Favorite food:  Fresh raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, cherries, figs and watermellon - and for drinks - freshly squeezed grape juice and orange juice.

What makes you happy?  Sharing experiences with my son and daughter - Perry and Keri,  being in love.

What makes you sad?  Death, not having enough money, disappointments in life.

What do you like to do in your free time?  Relax, read, go to a movie, have lunch with a friend.

What is important to you about friendships?  Having someone to confide in, to laugh and cry with, having common interests with someone.

What are your best qualities?  I'm a good listener, compassionate, loyal and affectionate.

What is important to you in life?  Having inner peace, being emotionally close with my children, feeling financially and emotionally secure, being spiritual, and being healthy.

What about your life do you cherish?  The memories that I have experiencing every stage of development with my children - from pregnancy to the present - I was bonded and loved my children since before they were born.  I cherish all of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pictures I took of my children.  I cherish hearing them say the words "Mom, I love you."  I cherish everything that I kept of theirs, their first pair of shoes, Keri's little ballet and tap shoes and dancing costumes , leotards and tights, Perry's first pair of jeans, first raincoat, their locks of hair from a first hair cut, their papers when they were learning to print and on and on; all of the experiences that I had in life that made me who I am today.

What about your life do you regret?  Not going to the Culinary Institute of America when I was accepted, listening to too many people's opinions and being influenced by them, not having the confidence of listening to my instincts.

What advice would you give to a teenager?  Make wise choices in who you choose as a life partner and who you will have children with; don't pass up opportunities because of fear - it things don't work out, know it is not the end of the world; for girls - demand respect from a guy, it you don't get it don't give him a second chance and move on; for guys - don't be afraid to show your sensative side, stay away from junk food; eat healthy food; stay away from chemicals; be open to alternative health care; be independent; be sensitive to others; learn a foreign language; learn to have multiple streams of income; don't get into debt; get into the habit of paying cash and don't use credit cards;  stay away from addictive behaviors such as smoking, drinking and drugs; be well rounded, develop good friendships; have a hobby you love; make exercise your life long habit; have integrity; have inner peace, know that things will always be OK; have gratitude for what you have; help someone who isn't as well off as you; don't be arrogant, be sensitive to others, have a close relationship with your parents and family members; develop good intuition; find your own spiritual path; enjoy every stage of your life.

What are your favorite memories growing up? Going to the swimming pool with my mother. I would sit on her lap in the shallow water and she would sing to me.

Are you health conscious?  Absolutely, and it's my passion to help other people.

Do you like to go shopping?  It's always fun when I can buy something.

Do you travel and if so where?  Not on a regular basis, but one day I will.

What is your favorite city?  I love the ocean in Maine and the gorgeous coast in northern California.

Do you have any pets?  Yes, an Italian Greyhound named Lucy, three birds named Croissant, Nutmeg and Coco.  (Cornbread and Cheesecake are no longer with us.)

Who would guests be at your fantacy dinner party?  Jacqueline Kennedy, St. Joseph, Henry David Thoreau, Woody Allen, Barbara Streisand, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Douglas, Amy Irving  and Oprah.

Who do you admire most?  Entrepreneurs who do it all on their own.

Is there anything you would like to do in the future if cost were not a factor?  Own a house on the beach on the east and west coast and somewhere in Europe, travel the world, and pay for my friends to come with me.

So now you know a little more about me.  Feel free to go to the archives and read the interviews with other people.  You'll see it usually the first or second day of every month from the past year.  The website is www.MagicoftheRainforest.blog-city.com.

I am looking forward to sharing many more articles with you.  I would love to hear from you.  If you have any comments you can email me at bleynor@gmail.com.
