Junk Food Reward For Job Well Done
I have one of those Corporate America jobs during the day. I was just told that in the month of January I was the top producer in my department. I work for a giagantic company and I naturally think of being rewarded with some financial bonus.
My company gave me a cold can of Coca Cola and a king size Snickers bar. I don't know about you but I find this reward rather sad. And what is even more sad is that every person other than me would love to have it. I gave it to the guy who sits behind me. He was thrilled to get it.
The coke, in an aluminun can, is the most unhealthy drink. That, in addition to the candy bar which is loaded with sugar and zero healthy ingredients makes it a complete unhealthy snack.
But I am the one who is different. For some reason everyone else loves it. I guess I cannot expect to be given an apple or a bag of carrots.
