A part of health and wellness is taking care of yourself. The first thing that comes to our mind is exercising, eating right, getting enough sleep, being stress free, etc. That’s part of it. Another part of taking care of ourselves is making sure that we are safe.
Being safe might be locking our doors, or wearing a helmet when riding a bike. I just got information warning us about National Gang Week. We now have something else to watch out for, or rather, something to ignore.
I am going to print a notification from the police department. This is from Officer R. Duplechin, Alvin ISD Police, Alvin High School Campus, in Alvin, Texas.
I do not know if this pertains only to Texas. I happen to live in Dallas, Texas, as someone in Dallas sent this to me. I hope that this is not nationwide. It’s always good to be aware of what is going on. It’s also really, really sad knowing that helping someone in distress may put our own life in jeopardy. Hopefully, this is a situation that you will not come into contact with.
To All,
Officer R. Duplechin
